The good news is they filter the water. A lot. It's pretty clean.

Bring your own drinks in a backpack. They sell juice and stuff there but no booze.

it is a date, is the nude thing just in GR or is it in A2 also? from what i have heard is that all the rooms are VERY secluded so i dont think they would know either way

my wife went to school at eastern. I used to live in Whitemore Lake.

Whilst dating we went there a couple of times. Nude is very much an option for any of their private offerings. (it's been a long time since we were dating so I'm not sure if they have any communal tubs/rooms now adays)

for one of the sweetest days, or valentines days (I can't recall exactly) my wife did the same, but it was a surprise. I showed up at her place (a sorority house) for our 'date' and she promptly blindfolded me.

at first I was like o.O then O.O then !!!!! wondering what she had in mind, ... er, uh... well I won't go where my mind was headed cause it'll sound like a story from penthouse forums but you know where my mind was leading me.

anyway, she led me out to the car, so now I'm wondering if I'm about to be sold into slavery, butchered, or what exactly was in store for me. (I've been accused before of having an overactive imagination)

She had me stay in the car, and damned if I didn't manage to keep myself from peeking while she went in (she had a reservation too). The mild chlorine smell gave it away, but it was still a very nice surprise

Strict standards are monitored and regulated by the State and County Health Departments, who analyze water purity regularly. But, the Oasis' own standards and its state-of-the-art disinfection and filtration systems surpass the minimum guidelines these agencies dictate. The Oasis' metering and feeding equipment continuously measures proper bromine, and water pH levels. In fact, because of careful attention to water purity, Oasis tub water is cleaner and more bacteria-free than city drinking water.

Bromine is used to disinfect the waters, eliminating chlorine's harsh odor. The water in each tub circulates constantly and every eight minutes is completely refiltered. To keep it gentle on your skin, the pH of the water is monitored and maintained to match body chemistry levels. Trace quantities of heavy metals present in city water are filtered out and alkalinity is also regularly adjusted.

dont drink the water but the entire tub is filtered every 8 minutes and its generally hot enough to kill most stuff and if that doesn't do it the chlorine will but its still not sanitary!

All of the rooms are private. They won't know what you're up to unless the front worker is watching you on the hidden camera. So booze up and get nekkie. There's no way in hell they're going to try to look in your backpack.

There was a news story floating around a few years back concerning the hepatitis levels in the Grand Rapids area hot tub places... such as Oasis and Hubatuba. They maid it sound like you had a better chance of sleeping with Magic Johnson and not getting a std than going to said hot tub places. I've never been back since... BUT boy did I have some fun there.
