That is no question one of my biggest fears. I couldn't imagine going through that wth one of my kids. There are no words that could remove the hurt.
Very sad---rest in peace. Hope the family can live in peace also.

My little sister is 9. I couldn't even begin to imagine what it would be like to lose her, especially after all of that. R.I.P. Prayers sent.

Prayers with the family. I lost a Daughter after 14 years of battleing a severe heart defect. She also passed away sitting on my lap in my arms ,but at home. I know how they are feeling and the best help a friend can do ,Is be there and help with the loss. Friends and family are a big help. We found that talking alot openly about Kalseyjo and others also feeling comfortable talking about her was a great way for everyone to cope with the loss. Some feel like they shouldnt mention the or talk about the lost loved one but I strongly beleive that talking about them and their life is a soothing feeling a way for everyone to morn the loss together. We talk all the time of Kalseyjo and let friends and family know we want them to also. With time memorries fade but by talking with others those memorries will last forever. what one may forget anouther remembers and without talking those memorrries cant be shared. God bless their child and them as well.

I think this is the first thoughtful, sympathetic and mature post you've made.

Bump, I was just thinking of this and wakebabe's recent thread got me to thinking about it.

Anyway, hug your kids tight tonight before they go to bed.

That is an A+ plan dude. We have followed that basic rule for years. You just never know what the future holds!

Just seeing this thread now. I can't imagine burying one of my children and every day give thanks that they are healthy and well. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and I believe that Ron's advice is solid, you need to keep talking and keeping memories alive.
