What the hell are you going to trade for? More sugar cane? Carter did all the trading we needed to do with them. Then we got boat loads of convicts and no goods. They can keep all their crap. Cuba's a non-player on the international stage, unless the are harboring Obama, er, I mean Ossama, and want to make a deal.

There are plenty of places to go for vacation in that part of the world, as opposed to Cuba, if that is what you're interested in. Plus, there are just as good, if not better cigars from places other than Cuba.

well not necessarily trade, but there really is no reason not to, and they did import stuff in starting in 2000, just not Cigars. But it would have been a sign of good intentions, not too many communistic countries left, it would have made the US look good to the rest of the world.

and they are only 90 miles away, so it would be nice to be friends with your neighbors, especially when they are communists and so are the chinese.

Cuban Cigars aren't worth the money,...........you can buy a great cigar from Dominacan, Honduras etc......for a 10th the price,..........their rum is pretty good though,...........and it is real real cheap to vacation there .......

I have been to Honduras. Even they will admit that their cigars are not good.
