Correct, and when it's time to pay China back we will just print the money to do it, creating more inflation so in a year if you got $1200 it will only be worth $900. SWEET SWEET SWEET

But I had heard the last week that we were getting these rebates but the US dosen't have " gold funds" to back the extra money Bush had printed. Thus maybe why we are borrowing from China, what clarkstoncracker was talking about?

Our Federal Reserve Notes have not been backed by gold since 1971. It is called a fiat money system.

In economics, fiat currency or fiat money is money backed by an authority, usually a government, for use in exchange of goods and services or to pay a debt, e.g tax. Unlike representative money, fiat money is not convertible to specie.

Fiat money is a form of money backed by the good credit of the issuing authority, which could be a government, bank, or other organization. The value of the money is based primarily on the faith that the money will remain relatively stable in value, continue to be accepted as a means of exchange, and will be accepted by creditors. Of particular relevance is its acceptability as payment of debts to the government, such as taxes. The term “fiat” money is also often used to distinguish it from representative money, which is pegged or fixed to a quantity or mass of precious metal. While representative money is often associated with a legal requirement that the bank of issue pay in fixed weights of a given precious metal or (in theory) fixed amount of any other precious good, fiat money generally has no inherent value. Instead, it derives its value as a medium for exchange when traded for goods or services or to pay debts.

How many incumbants do you plan on voting for so we can make sure it's buisness as usual.
I'm sure the next president weather it be a Republican or Democrat will get everthing back on track. I'm going on a comedy tour and thats my big punch line for my act.

Untill you vote out all the dead weight, that would be everbody in office, nothing will change. You will have more and better results bicthing about the weather than the government. The part that causes belly laughs is we can change the government but choose not to.

This?
A much more detailed description of what I was trying to say. I was not meaning that the gold standard (that ended in 71) is a fiat money system.

"money backed by the good credit of the issuing authority"
to bad the issuing authority, in this case the US government have nothing but credit.

Yup, by getting a loan. your interest will help keep the banks head above water. So the Fed won't have to bail them out, by printing even more money to cover the banks losses and devaluing our dollar even more. Hopefully it works, I doubt it will but hopefully.

I can't say to much I bought a house last year.

Your supposed to go out and buy a HD tv so you can keep the propoganda pouring into your living room.

I agree I will not vote for a lessor of two ass wipes and I no longer support any incumbant polititions. I know local, county, state, and federal seated polititions, and I no longer support them. They know it and they agree with my bicthes and they also agree that the whole rats nest needs to be cleaned out 100%. But they also know the American public has become a bunch of gutless politcally correct chicken shits that are more concerned as to what Oprah has to say then the remidies required to get this country back on track. How many dumb asses will vote for Hilary because she is a woman, how many dumb asses will vote for Ubamba because he is a "insert racial slur here" , how many people will vote Democrat even though they don't like that candidate, and Republicans the same way. Take a look at the basically stupid people that are making decissions in this country and putting people into power and tell me we aren't in a heap of shit.

Obviously not.
The Phantom is kind of a Burma Shave thing. You might want to ask your mommy and daddy what that is.
The profanity is unnecessary as it shows immaturity and lack of self control. This is probally manifested from your small penis complex.
