DRM did this on POR with his 12v Cummins. He was always around 15-16mpg, he did not get 20mpg. You will got get 20mpg unless you drive on the highway at like 50mph continuously.

Mine does. It doesn't often on winter fuel, but each fill up on both of my holiday trips were at 19. That was with the GPS for miles.

well my dad got 22 on a trip to virginia when he came to see me with his 03 powerstroke, it was less than 6 months old and only had like 5000 miles on it. yeah he drives like an old man, but it was all hand calculated and he has no reason to lie

There are many different parameters to why each person gets different mileage. I know some people don't know how to calculate, and I am sure some people exaggerate. What does Stan get?

There was an article in Diesel power magazine last year featuring a 97 Ram 3500 Dually that hand calculated was getting 30mpg. I have the mag at home.

Best mileage I ever got was 19.5mpg 100% highway 70mph cruise in the summer. That was with a 2005 F250 FX4 with 33's 6.0L
