cool i wanted to know how to make glass...

we have only exacerbated the issue, they hate us, have pretty much always hated us and planting the state of Israel there in the 40's and pooping on the Palestinians has only given them the "reason" to try and spread their insanity.

I can only agree. 9/11 was not the first attack against the US (or any other country for that matter). Why do you think Russia was in there for so long? It wasnt much before 9/11 when Russia pulled out.

If anyone thinks different, they dont really know.

If we pulled out all of our troops from the Middle East it would just make their goal easier. Do not forget, we are the "infidels" and they want us gone from the Earth, not just their country. I really doubt if we had never even went there it would change what they want to do to us. The Western culture is having too great of an influence and could be a bigger problem in the future.

Yes, OBL got pissed we were marching on his "holy land". Plus we are buddies with Israel, whom everyone in the Middle East pretty much hates.

To be honest, the only way that the problems there would be solved is to pull out all turn that desert into one big sheet of glass (sand + N-bombs = glass). Only problem is Israel is too close. That would not be the most diplomatic way to solve things over there either. Plus it would pretty much incinerate the biggest source of crude oil left.

I recently read a book called "Shooter". It was by a former top sniper from the Marines. Quite an interesting read. The part that really got me was near the end. Remember the "human shield" that flew over there from the US when the war first started? The Marines had to protect them from the now-liberated Iraqi people because the Iraqis thought the "human shields" were going to stop the troops from finishing their job. The "human shields" had no idea that the Marines saved their lives.
Yeah, the last time the complete wipeout strategy was tried was with the cursades and that didn't turn out so well either.

Please show me how the hatred towards russian has worsened since they have pulled out. I don't recall any major terroist atacks against Russia in the last 20 years.

I'm thinking less lives would be lost if we fought them here on our soil. 1.)They would have to get here. 2.)We would actually put the massive homeland defense budget to use. 3)Would give us a reason to secure our borders.

Take 9/11, 2500+ people died because we were not securing our borders.

Iraq war, 3000+ soilders died because we choose to take the fight to them, and they in this case weren't part of 9/11 but that's a whole different story.
Now taking the fight to Afghan because of 9/11 makes sense.

And please don't tell me that those 3000+ soilders volunteerd to die or something stupid like that when comparing them to the 2500+ civilians.

What are you nuts? You want people here destroying our cities, killing innocent people, worrying about car bomb, etc etc etc? War isn't just about a fuckin budget.

I don't want to be crossing our borders with Canada like it's East/ West Berlin.

No, I don't want them here but not wanting them here goes to the fact that with us NOT wanting them here we might do something about keeping them out. Example, kicking out the 9/11 terrorist that were here on expired visas. Just think of the 2500+ people that died on 9/11 could still be around if we would have just enforced laws and protected our own citizens.

I have a feeling you would be okay if going into Mexico was like the East/West Berlin crossing

I'm looking to see where Russia was attacked after they pulled out. Your post seemed to imply that the will be attacked when we pull out. Actually it didn't make much sense to me and that is why I'm trying to figure it out, care to explain?

Actually a Muslim backed terrorist group bombed an elementry school in Russia and killed a mess of children. We don't hear alot of what goes on in that country. It's by design of the Russian government that way everbody is always guessing.

I have some really cool pictures of russian military air craft at a nuke base. The funny thing is most of the shit doesn't run but it looks impressive. It was also cool to see the armored personel carriers, and tanks parked behind homes, talk about some serious wheelers. That was the only place I ever rode in a helicopter and was outdrank by the pilot while he was flying.

Consider that there were several single days in WWII where more soldiers died than in the entire Iraq/Afghan war.

Anybody that stands up to the military industrial complex and our nation's perpetual policies of endless arms sales to dictators and starts making progress to point of a likely nomination would probably have an "accidental plane crash" or something similar.
The media owned by the same MIC will marginalize a candidate as such.

"there" was a reference to the Middle East in general, not Iraq specifically. As mentioned, we've been involved in the Middle east since the end of WWII.
