Default The only reason to ever watch nascar is today. The daytime race at Bristol

Its just like old school nascar.. Bumping and crashing!

The best NASCAR race to see (or watch) is the night race.

Bristol is awesome - been there three times for the night race. The difference between attending a race at Bristol and MIS is the same difference between watching a race on TV and attending one at MIS.

The noise level at Bristol is unbelievable - the state hands out ear plugs to kids to avoid hearing damage. It's so loud, you feel it. It is louder during a race than an aircraft carrier deck during full flight ops.

The seating at Bristol is like a football game - the grandstands surround the track, which holds the noise in. The infield is so small, you can see everything that's going on.

Awesome parties in the field across the street from the track Wed-Sat.

The only reason I watch Nascar is for the crashes and in the last 2 years, the commercials. Best ones in all of TV. They routinely beat Super Bowl commercials but on a weekly basis!

I heard during the pre-race that Bristol is the largest 'stadium' in professional 'sports' with a capacity of 160,000.

*the quotes are for all those that would say its neither a stadium nor a sport. Please review prior post regarding the sports issues.

I just stumbled on this race for the last 10 laps... that was some good shit!

Yeah, I saw Gordon do that, but then karma bit him in the ass and he spun out too.
