Arnie I live right at Exit 156(Kalmbach rd). the freeway is my north fence, if you watch the news when they are talking about back ups out here in the sticks they always start at my exit.

Almost every single mile of I-94 sucks in Michigan. If it's not snow, it's potholes, detroit, or retards.

The north end of our backyard is right up against Exit 100. There are always people pulled over or in the ditch. I might start taking back roads to work in Kzoo.

I use to live in Hartford (Exit 46) when I was commuting for college I use to drive a wrecker for a local towing company at night and 94 was a great place to make the $$, tons of Chicago people who think because they have a SUV it means they can drive 80.

I've made allot of money off that highway but at the same time it's very dangerous out there.

Towed a few mexicans back to Detroit over x-mas and none of them spoke English, the best I could get out of them was drive to the exit after the big tire, I finally figured it out once I started to get into the D there was a huge tire off to the right, never seen that before.

I despise I-94. Too many trucks. When I go to chicago, I head south and hit the turnpike.

I found out from my parents house its faster to start heading west, i usually get on I94 somewhere btw concord and battle creek.

how long does it take you on the turnpike, i've debated going that way, but its like 50 more miles i think from Jackson

It's about 20 minutes quicker taking the turnpike, but I only live 20 miles north of it. It's such an easier drive, and the popo doesn't really hang out all that much down that way. I usually do between 80-90 the whole way.

actually its 7 miles fewer going that way and says it will take me 20 minutes longer, I'll try going that way the next time
