Default would YOU ever go to THIS church?

It is in VA Beach, and it is a campus of a church there. I met the pastor this past weekend when he was in town visiting my church, and I got to know him a bit, so I played around on their website and found a cool vid.

Just wondering what some of you think of this:

I think it's wonderful. Why should Christians be hiding in a church building waiting for people to stumble in?

We can learn much from the ministry the early church had.

????????????????????????????????????? Do they have Crown Royal????

It's a big change from what I'm used to but I think there's something about those who gather in my name.

Party on Peter. Party on Paul.

Of course it's different. The objective is to reach an audience of the unchurched.

I thought it was really out of the box, and if I did not to go church now, I would probably go to that.

maybe. I dislike conventional church to the point where I wont go, cuz it bores the ever loving shit out of me. Plus old people suck, and I really dont get into the whole church gong thing, but I do listen.

I never quite understood why worship styles got so stuck in the 1800's

I bet if they didn't have Blue Moon you wouldn't be going. :tonka:

I'd go to. I remember always having an uplifting type feeling leaving church, but I hate the mass itself. This would be a cool spin on things.

There are a couple of MInistry groups on MSU's Campus that do something similar. St Johns Student parish is on that I know for sure. It's called like Brew and Bible. There are also some churches that will have Brewing parties and then Tie in God somehow. It's not a Brand new idea, But It's a pretty good one. I'd Go.

I've done a bible and brew, but this is a service that is at an actual bar, during business hours :)
