Default customs and duty

My son is thinking about buying some parts in Canada and bring them back across the border. Any idea how much if any duty would be charged?

Get a hold of lakoda on the board, he's running back and forth getting parts all the time.

25 years and older is duty free

Make sure you have the year of the vehicle on your receipt. Maybe it will say 1983 .

I heard they like you to leave a little green for them on the carpet if they want to search.

My roommate found out the very cold and intrusive way at the Windsor crossing.

I've always gone through Port Huron, never been charged for anything :dunno:

LOL, I went through once with a whole engine/transmission/suspension in the back of my honda, they gave me funny looks, but didn't charge anything..
