I debated calling in. Then I would have missed out. Left the house at 6:00 am, arrived at about 7:15. A Normal commute is 45-50 minutes so not too bad.

I did 'snow plow' and/or scrape the belly most of the way from Fenton until deep into Rose Township however.

(note: Miata's do not have a large amount of clearance)

When I went to bed last night at midnight, WWJ was saying a dusting to an inch.

I'm guessing there was 4-5" of snow.

lots of snow this morning (for having none last night). Pepsi driver went off the road and caused 30-45 minute backups between Holly Exit and Dort Exit this AM...

I want to go play in the snow!

damn. I'd have gone that way if I had known it was a pepsi truck (would assume they have mt dew on board, and I'd offer to take my share to help lighten the load and assist in the recovery :p )

it was fun that early in the morning - I don't think I saw more than a dozen cars until I hit the Lake Sherwood area of Commerce Township at about 6:40 am

Well, he would have headed for bed the same way, but would have prayed before he actually konked out. He also have have pushed the snow clouds further north, but I am not sure on this part.

It was pretty bad driving home from work last night near the airport to Davison. Even today at 11am, it was still kinda bad. Are the snowplow drivers working fulltime this year or what? I didnt see one the whole way home and I take 69.
