Default Anyone know

the training requirements to be a firefighter? Yes, I googled it and it looks like level 1 and 2 courses are required. About 240 hours? Thanks

Personally, I'd say join the Navy. I was stationed on a submarine for 5 1/2 years and accrued over 18,000 hours of firefighting training. Relatively cheap might I add, I didn't pay a penny for the training and I got a pay check to boot. Familiar with Scott Airpacks and the rest, try a NFTI if you can those cameras are hella cool. Seeing your body heat reflected off of bare metal. Definitely interesting, bird or no bird.

Its not for me. I'm an old fart. A Buddy's son is interested and he said it was a four year degree. That seemed like a long time. I can see what your saying about the service. Thats probably excellent training. Thanks for your reply.
