Default truck pulls

im thinkin of doing one down at the county fair this year and was wondering about the classes, i wouldnt be running diesel, so im curious to know who has any experience with these, what kind of mods should i do to my engine and what should i expect as competition?

I did it a few times it is fun and can be expensive. There are street stock 6000 lbs gas. You will need a 3 in ring for the hook in a receiver type hitch no more then 28 in from the ground. Your hitch must be stock location.No lowered stop blocks in the rear or front.No engine mods headers ok carb up grade no kn filter ok you can put the bigest motor that came in your truck .Drop your tires to 15 to 20 psi. ask the guys at the pull what they run for psi. The bigest thing if it starts to hop let off the gas ask me how i know If you have any other ? pm me

cool thanks for the help, im going to run a F-150 with a 351, probably wont win i just want to have fun without screwing it up too bad

look at my avatar that is what i used to use 47 dodge on 85 blazer frame d44 front 14b ff rear 350 700r4 205 6300 lbs good luck just have fun if you what to buy my truck i am thinking about selling it . it also has front and rear plows
