Actually, I can see the motivation behind making a game of it. Alot of people died in vietnam and world war 2 as well but nobody cries over games in those arenas. What would the japanese say if at the end of BF1942 you had to drop a bomb from a b29?

While it still isn't anything to be made light of, I agree with the above statements. It is a bit hypocritical to complain about that type of thing when you consider all the games we play based on real-life historical situations.

my wife was watching some show on E! about americans and the time it took us for "wounds" to heal. For instance that to honor people that died in WW2 now movie studio would even consider a war movie until the early 60's, 15 years after the war. And then with vietnam you had movies coming out about a year or two after saigon fell dealing with that them. Alot of people bitched a fit about the movie The Kingdom and a few other due out soon because we're still they actively at war. You aren't going to stop people from using real life events for inspiration, its simply the honor and dignity of waiting a bit we have forgotten.

I remember on Opie and Anthony (before 97.1 switched formats damn it) they used to ask each other "has it been long enough" before making light of a serious situation or person that had died etc. Although it was sometimes inconsiderate to say the least it's a fact.
