I take prescription Zyrtec D twice a day. I've had sinus congestion for the last week, so I've been using Afrin No Drip to help with that.

Benadryl Allergy stuff and Allavert work well and they're over the counter.

Mine get bad in august when the ragweed season kicks in. The rest of the year I'm fine.

I'm extremely allergic to only certain dogs. My brother's great dane essentially forces me to jam a cotton ball up each nostril if I'm simply in the same room as it (verified this past holiday after he brought it over to my mom's freshly gutted/rebuilt house)

I took 8 claritin that day with no relief. Within 5 minutes of leaving the house to head home, I was clearing up...

Believe it or not, the alka selzter cold & cough bubbly junk so far seems to be the best over the counter solution for when my allergies go haywire.

I have allergies. Cigarette smoke kicks it off badly. I have been taking Claritin with the best overall results (nose still runs, but at least I don't feel like shit).

Claritin D works great if your stuffed. Otherwise, I'm on Allegra and it seems to work when taken regulary( as prescribed by Dr.). If allergies keep buggin you, go see a allergy specialist instead of a reg Dr, that worked great for myself.

i got these nose drops called neo-synephrine. 2 drops in each nostril will make you able to smell a fart from 100 feet away lol...no joke.
