Advantage makes a good boat, but not my style. I prefer the east coast no frills, less bling, go fast type boats. The west coast builders are more about the bling and they do a great job putting fancy graphics and other nice amentities on boats, at the cost of speed and performance. I am also not a fan of the party cats they make on the west coast .... I prefer V-Hulls.

My type of boat is a pantera, superboat, magnum, cigarette, progression, activator, etc. More the east coast style boats.

They aren't a bad boat, but they are definately made for something like havasu much more so then the great lakes or east coast.

there wasn't much shop out there, but those rollers they hit are decivingly large. I'm betting they were 4+ feet and sneak up on you very fast and without warning, atleast on Lake Huron....

Great Lakes boating is nothing like Ocean going... the water isn't even comparable

He looks like one of the Michigan Hot Boat Club guys. Those floating motors accelerate like no other.
