Free 80 blazer with a newer 350 and th350/208 but the body was toast,, with the help of a sazs-all I had 40's cut to hell front fenders and a flat bed blazer for wood hauling at the camp, though it did more wheeling then wood hauling untill the frame was used for my 468 BBC 1 ton 44'" wearing extended cab s-10

hmm i'm gonna have to say both my trucks i drive right now, since the combined price is only $450! one's an 88 cherokee ($300) that's in fairly decent condition, just need to properly wire the starter relay, replace the starter with a spare one i had lying around, and repair a couple wires. the other is a 90 comanche that was $150, just had to install the bed and fuel tank to get it running.

81 Toyota pickup with 280,000 on it
I bought it for $200 and on the way home I stoped off at a friends house and sold the cap on the back for $150

I put 68,000 on it over the next 3 years, with only putting gas, oil, and tires in it.

after 3 years I sold it to a farmer for $300

1978 VW Rabbit, gas motor. Paid $100.00 for it. It saved me 6x that in multi-car insurance discount over the next 2 years that I owned it. I hacksawed the roof off of it, and bondo'ed the doors shut.

car was completely rotted/soft. put it up on a hoist to do brakes, and the hoist points sunk into the rockers a good 2"...

external fuel pump mount was rotted off, so it hung in place via a couple of old coat-hangers.

hood latch didn't work, after it flopped on me the first time, I used gate latches as "hood pins".

couldn't kill it - drove it to several free concerts at hart plaza in my youth...

92 Chevy Beretta (sp) Paid a 1.50 Canadain for it. Beat the living hell out of. Jumped that thing a few time and took it back in to my woods and trailed a few time. Killed it when a stick when in to the trans and oil pans. Then Just the thing up all 2 weeks before my Grad Party.
86 Toyota Pick up Paid 150 for and used for a few weeks to haul wood out of the woods. (No Brakes on it at all) Hit a few trees.
Loaded it up on the trailer to scrap it and the dam thing broke right in half.
85 S10 Blazer Free

Be careful bringing up old threads.
