Default Winter wheeling at the Cliffs

Me, my buddy Fatwreck, and BlueXJ (riding shotty with me) hit up the Cliffs for a little wheeling trip last Saturday. We showed up at the park and we were the only ones there.....we had the place to ourselves all day.

We started off the day not having heat in either rig. I finally got mine working after realizing it was a missing fuse, but Fatwreck just kept blowing fuses. That sucked.

Most of the day was spent flopped from one side to another.....with quite a few high rpm launches. The best part of the day which we didn't get on video though. I was climbing over one of the few rocks that we saw throughout the day. My back end slid over and I started to flop. It was on 2 wheels and I pretty much could have drunk the water on the ground outside my drivers window through a straw. It was a slow flop and I realized it basically to the ground so I cut left and gave it a little throttle and it somehow came back down on all fours. It was sick! No video or pics but I do have witnesses :flip:

BIG thanks to Tom (I think that was his name) from the Cliffs for being our personal trail guide for the day.

Here's the best stuck of the day.....I couldn't get out of the parking lot. Fatwreck had to strap to my trailer and get my moving.

Thanks for posting the pictures for me. I had a lot of fun. I still can't believe how you drove out of that almost flop. Pete was still bumming about not getting that on video this morning.

then i'll blame it on him :tonka:

no one knew that was going to happen. i took that line because i saw Tom's tracks going that way and it didnt look like he had any problem. i guess maybe it was his narrower axles that kept him up on the rock.

That and the boggers. You almost have to have those tires to enjoy that park. It's crazy how well they do there.

Tom led a group of us around last year about this time. What a blast! It's a great place as long as you aren't worried about flopping.

I love Boggers, but my Q78s did pretty well out there, especially in the winter. Anyone who says Boggers have no side stability has never wheeled the Cliffs with me. :tonka:
