so how does the clock spring for the air bag affect the steering, does it make the air bag a bomb aiting to explode, or is it not a big deal at all? and did you say 46XXX or am I missing the 1 in front of that? please post pics of it. are you just looking for a four banger to drive or something? I figured that thing would be pretty good on gas, or am I wrong on that

no the air bag will not go off in an accident nor the horn doesn't work, and yeah its 46xxx not 146xxx

A clockspring is simply a coil of wire that winds up when you turn the steering wheel one way, and unwinds when you turn the steering wheel the other way. The airbag and horn switch are both signals sent through this wire. When the clockspring breaks there will be no power to either the horn switch or the airbag. The airbag light should illuminate also. They're not too difficult to replace actually.

also i have a bikini top for it, and a besttop trail cover. i have unfinished jrc sliders too. then been sitting in the rafters of the garage, i was making them bolt on, that id thro in too if wanted
