Question Dana 70/80 question?

There is a good deal on a dana 70. problem is it's a dually. I need to narrow it for a tj. Will dana80 cab-n-chassis axle shafts fit? convert dually to single, is this too much trouble?

I thought they were both 1.5 35spline. But is it worth norrowing and converting to a single wheel from a dually, at 75 wms down to 60wms,

I would buy a cab & chassis D70, not narrow anything, and run wheels with the right backspacing to achieve your desired track. They're about 63". That's exactly what's getting loaded into my XJ in a couple weeks.

This is the guy I got mine from on eBay. He's right in Holly and pretty much only deals with Ford parts.
