Default 4.0 and 2.3 manual trans

just picked up a 92 xploder with a 4.0 and a 5 speed (M5OD-r1) the 5 speed is junk.

in my garage for no reason there is a 96, 2.3(that's blown) with a good 5 speed M5OD-r1. anyone see where i'm trying to go with this? could i be lucky enought that it would bolt up?

Make sure when you get a new one, replace the plugs on top with metal ones. Thats probably where the fluid went.
