Default "Jeep" in my daughters spelling book

Just thought I'd share. This is a scan of my daughters spelling book. They get these books in 1st grade and keep them for elementary. My daughter is now in the 4th grade and I just happened to stumble onto her book.

There's not many J's but at least she has the important one!

My 5 year old is sitting at the table last week and says--

Dad, I can spell Jeep
I say Oh yeah and go over and watch her.
She starts out the J wrong and I say nope
She says oh yeah the J goes the other way--
Then she very clearly writes "Jeep" on the page.
Not too shabby for K-garden

That's my girl

We were at a stop light one day this summer and a Commanche went through. My 3 year old said "Dad that looks like a Cherokee, but..." I said, "But what?" She said, "But it's a truck." My wife said she could see I was beside myself with pride after that statement!

Notice that everyone is talking about their daughters? No sons? I've been told that I'm pushing her too hard to be a tom boy! She's gonna be a die-hard, though! She chose to ride with me on a 12-hour trip this summer in the YJ. I asked her if she wanted to get in the A/C (ZJ) with Mom, but she didn't want to. I didn't even want to ride that long in the YJ.

Now she wants one of these for Christmas.

LOL! my daughter has done much of the same stuff mentioned.
Great stories:)

when I was changing alternators my girl (5) had her tools helping me standing on the tire and says "dad, when can we build me a Jeep?"
I started crying. my wife tells her "you just made dad the happiest person on earth"

Kids are without a doubt the best thing ever!
