Although a reality, it's a shame IMO. America has come to the point of being overly greedy - anything to make a quick buck and make as much as possible. It's no longer acceptable for a corporation to make a profit - it has to be a mega uber huge profit. American consumers are the same way, they want the sun and the moon for a penny.

While I'm not saying I don't like saving money and lower prices, I am saying that I think people should try to support their own communities before another countries. And I'm not just talking about the big three here - not trying to take it off subject either. Things as little as shopping at the local mom & pop food store as opposed to wal-mart....I don't know, anymore to me it seems as though people don't really care about their community and how/what their dollar supports - as long as they get something for nothing they're happy.

Of course, corporate America is going to find a way to make the price way too high...but the big 3 need to start planning now.

The issue with ethanol in this country is that we can't support the need - Brazil can support their needs as most of their ethanol supply is produced through sugar-cane, not corn

And to get back on topic - it doesn't bother me to hear about toyota's bad press....
