Way to stick to your guns, it was for the best. I hate doing the discipline thing. It's so much more fun screwing around with the kids, but then you end up with a mess of an adult child.

I see two kids planning on clubbing dad in his sleep. Good job on sticking to your word. Let them know you already had a talk to Santa.

I stuck to my guns also on Larissa who still wouldn't talk to her teacher, except I let her wear a costume and pass out candy to the other kids and she even got to eat a few... i got lots of hugs and I love yous. but not as many "Can I have just one more peice of candy, just one more" heard that atlest 7 times

I did ask both of them how many times I had to warn them if they misbehaved and what the consequences would be.
I do feel guilty. I told them I wish we could have gone trick or treating, but if I went against my word I would be concerned that you would have less respect for your mom and I.

It is all good now. My son totally blames my wife.
I WOULD HAVE GAVE IN. I love to still go trick or treating
