This thread was cool before that one loser started calling everyone fags and cocksuckers.

Anyway, I was wondering where that electric locker fits in to the picture. Is it any good? Price is right.

Detroit-rear. ARB-front. And I don't use the shitty blue plastic air lines they come with.

Never a problem. But with the locking-unlocking of the rear detroit, I would not want one in the front.

And I hope by posting in here I don't get beat up.:tonka:

I have a spool in the rear and a detroit in the front.

the only thing I have noticed from time to time is when the detroit unlocks right before an obstical I will get about a 1/4 turn of the tire before it locks back up. aside from that, no issues. I have even broken a chromoly stub shaft and its still in good shape.

I took an axle shaft out last night and I found a ton of sand in the tube... that was after I put the shaft back into the carrier a few times Im going to change the oil, rinse it out half assed and im sure itll be just fine

cant do that with an arb. :tonka:

A Detroit TruTrac is a LIMITED SLIP, Not a LOCKER, NOT what you want for off-road.

Now a Detroit Locker or old-school called the soft-locker would be what you want.
