Default What axles should a 97 F-350 have?

And what year did they go metric? The front is obvious, but should the rear be a Sterling?

IIRC some have Dana 80's and some have the 10.25......i think the 80 only can in trucks equipped with the 7.3 though

And, yes, the 60 was put up front......

I don't yet know what drivetrain is in the vehicle I'm dealing with, but that is still helpful. Anybody know when the D60 rear was phased out?

IIRC the 80's

metric was 99

Vans used 60's up till recently, matbe even still do.

Front will be Dana 50 (IFS) or Dana 60 (monobeam).

Rear will be Sterling 10.25 or Dana 80 but I've only seen Dana 80's on DRW (doesn't mean they don't come on SRW but I've never seen one).

Ford used 60 Rear until 1998.5, but only in vans. They stopped putting them in the F-series after 1988.
