that was the original plan..... came to about $650 when i priced it my self (gutters are cheap, it's those damn hangers that are so damn expensive)

The gutters, downspouts and connectors were only like $250.
Looks like that's the way it's going to be

But you can't do seamless gutters yourself.

Srsly, its pretty easy to do, but the pro seamless stuff looks really nice. Between the cost of gutters and your time it wont be worth it to do it yerself

Home Depot licks the sack when it comes to some stuff. They run a pretty shitty racket on their water softeners also.

How many peoples gutters have you envied? Really?

Buy the cheapeast aluminum crap you can find. Go to a residential job site. "Steal" about 40' of 1" band iron from the yard, vioala. There are your gutter hangers and gutters and downspouts.
And you saved an assload of cash and did it yourself.

screw aluminum seamless. I quoted a job for an old historic house. Copper 6" half round with cast bronze hangers. Thats the way to do gutters! Materials alone was over 25 bucks a foot. I think I added about 1500 labor to braze and hang everything.
