Default Transmissions to a Inline 6?

I have a 94' f150 2wd I6, wanting to know if the c-6 will bolt right up to the I6 or not? If not does anyone know what other trannies do?

300 six shares the same bellhousing pattern as any small block Ford: 289 V8, 302 V8, 351 V8, and 250 I6. it will bolt up to it, but you need a neutral balanced flywheel/flexplate. The 300 will have a larger tooth count flywheel/flexplate and you could probably get the 250 flywheel/flexplate to work if you needed the smaller diameter one, but don't hold me to that.

do not confuse the 351/w and 351/c with the 351/m/400 this is actually a big block.

Depending on the c-6, some were built with a BB bell housing and some with a SB bell housing. A c-4 would bolt up to the 300, a 4R70W, or a zf 5-speed, i am not sure what you had or if you are switching to manual or auto.
