A classic example of media bias.

The Idaho center cruising men's rooms - got what he deserved. You won't see me defending him.

However, the media's overlloking of the Hsu situation highlights the "to the core crookedness" of the Clintons.

I agree that criminal violations of campaign finance laws are a bit more important than a middle-aged Republican senator trying to get lucky in a restroom at an airport.

theres definatly a bias in the media, but in this case I don't think it's so much a republican vs. democrat thing as it is a sex scandal vs. financial scandal. Sex scandals are easy for people to understand. everyone can relate to someone getting, or trying to get sex in an inaproptiate situation. Campaine finance laws are less easy to understand since they're not something that most people eer deal with. since most news is really just entretainmant they talk most about what people want to hear about, that that is the stuff they understand, sex scandals.

JUst look at the Clintons first 2 terms in office, what got more attention, the various questionable financial dealings they were inolved in, or Billy boy getting his horn honked by an intern?

Another difference to, is that many Democrats don't campaign upon moral/conservative values whereas Republicans do.

Although both parties do things that violate the law or are immoral, when a conservative Republican does it it is going to get more press because of the hipocracy. Even though he isn't a politician look at the Rush Limbaugh scandal a few years ago. For years he had espoused conservative views and railed against improprieties committed by Democrats, so when it was revealed that he was a drug abuser people will make a big deal about it because he is a hipocrit. On the other hand Barack Obama sold and abused drugs in his past but it is not as big a story because he isn't on a moral crusade.
