2013 TREC B-class ended with us in 3rd place in series points. Race results included one first, two seconds, a 4th and a DNF.

For 2014 we have stepped up to run the 2014 Ultra4 Every Man Challenge in Johnson Valley, California. We are also running the East Coast Regional series. In the 2014 campaign we will be changing from our 715 number to 4517 to match with the Ultra4 Modified numbers.

Suspension & steering:
3-link with panhard front, Triangulated 4-link rear
14" travel 2.5" diameter PAC remote reservoir shocks
front: 150# / 200# PAC 3" ID springs, rear: 100# / 175# PAC 3" ID springs
front: 3" travel 2" diameter air bumps, rear: 4" travel 2" diameter air bumps

I own a 75 Wagoneer (since '97) and a 01 TJ. The TJ I bought new in 2000 and used as a daily driver for the first three years. During that time I ran a 3" lift and 31s ATs for street driving and 33 Swampers for offroad. In this config I ran stock gears and put a lock right in front. In around 02 I put in an Atlas II 4.3 to help out my crawl while keeping my highway gears since it was still a DD.



In 2002 I put on a 5.5" RE LA and moved to 35" MTRs. I regeared to 4.56s and put a detroit in the rear to replace the blown out trac-loc. After a few trips wondering if I could make it home, I decided it was time get a truck and trailer, so I took advantage of the 0% interest at the time and bought a Chevy 2500HD.



I started looking into putting a d44 in front, then found a good deal on a d60 for the rear. Then I found a great deal on d60 front so a whole new project started that ended up with me running 39.5" Iroks on 15x10 allied beadlocks. I was still running the RE LA, but we reconfigured the rear to be a 4-link.



The front d60 was shortened to 64.5" WMS to WMS and converted to 5x5.5 to work with the beadlocks I got for a good deal used. It got Moser inners and, 4.88s and detroit. I started with stock steering, but snapped the pitman arm after a year and moved to full hydro. The rear d60 was converted from FF to SF with 4.88s, spool, and 40-spline moser shafts.

Around the time I went to full hydro, I scrapped the RE LA and re-did the suspension. The front is 3-link with a panhard and the rear is a 4-link. When building it we stretched the front 8" and the rear 4" for a wheelbase of about 106".



We recently put in the cage. I kept setting up to have it done, and it would fall through for one reason or another. We finally bought a bender and just did it.

I went up to Drummond this year on a family vacation. I took my 3 year old daughter out for her first jeep trip. She seemed to like it, especially when we went for a swim at Shale Beach (us, not the jeep).

Your rear end sags a little, must be from too many toys for the little one :tonka:

I may need some direstions to your house, I might want to come out on the 25th to go to Unlimited's open house to play with my Jeep, dunno yet though. Theres a dirty rotten rumor you live close enough that I may want to drive my rig from your house.

The shocks must have faded pulling off the trailer. You know those pesky air shocks.

It ain't a bad drive from here to there, maybe 30-35 minutes by back roads. It's probably only 20 miles, majority of it on gravel roads.
