I enjoyed "Roger & Me". I worked at the truck plant featured in the film when it closed.

Living on / around the Canadian border most of my life, I thought "Canadian Bacon" was hilarious.

However, he grew a little too full of himself and lost the comic edge. Now it's just rants without the entertainment. Like the equally hated Rush Limbaugh, remember these guys are entertainers - not serious journalists.

I mostly agree with DuffMan.

I read "Stupid White Men" which had great points and history behind everything in it, and it really offers a crappy insight into our government.

I've seen "Roger and Me", which I thought was a pretty good movie, especially living in a suburb of Flint.

"Canadian Bacon" was hilarious.

I was going to watch Fahrenheit 9/11, but then I kind of stopped caring. If our government is in such a shitty state as it is, and nobody's doing anything about it after countless books and movies have been made about it.. And shows like "Boston Legal" have talked about it, and its been in parts of the news... whats the use of just getting pissed off again and being helpless about it?

My brother went to one of Michael Moore's rallys I believe in California a few years back, and within minutes he was so disgusted with the way Michael Moore talks about people/groups and mocks them that he left.

He discusses interesting topics that need to be be discussed but he opens himself up for ridicule by the selective way he presents information to support his viewpoint.

"Roger & Me" is by far his best "documentary?" Canadian Bacon is good entertainment.

I admire him for seeing a niche and being able to exploit it; I dislike him for misleading impressionable people using age-old diversionary tactics to push his political agenda.

common sense would dictate that you at least watch one of his movies before comeing to the conclusion that he is " the master at pointing out the obvious, then adding his own spin. ill bet hes never even put in a days hard work, so what does he know about the average american?"

if you have not seen any of his work then you cant give a honest opinoin of how he goes about it. you can only re-tell someone elses op. without putting in the work of (watching some of his work) formulating your own op. based on what you have seen with your own eyes

i cant stand rush, but that is based on listening to him (long befor i knew who or what he was) for a hour a day for over a year.

you can have what ever opp. you want, but personally i only respect opp. based on exp. and not the current admins sloganisms and fear/hate mongering

Bowling for Columbine was not that great of a movie. 3/4 of it was other people's material and him going around to various stores trying to act like a mobster. In America, everyone has the right to make money, he's able to do it off the emotions of people.

I DONT CARE WHO IT IS, i dont like celebrities in general. They were nobodies like the most of us and when they get their big break, its piss on the little people.

Paris Hilton - wouldnt jack off to that douche if my life depended on it, Angelina Jolie - amazing what 50 pounds of plastic in the right place can get you, im sure you get the point.

Im sorry that this topic allowed me to vent, but when it comes down to it, we need less celebrities, famous people, controversial figures in the world. No two people ever have exactly the same view (thankfully) and we shouldnt allow ourselves to "hate or love" someone because of what they do for "society"
