So. I decided I wanted a big canvas picture this morning.

So I swing in to the parkwest gallery..

Found a canvas I like, aprox 6'x6', contemporary, very nice, original artwork.

Well, after finding out that I was about $4300.00 to light in the wallet, I decided to pass.

My next stop, Art Van.

Giving, that I am THE ONLY FRICKEN PERSON in the place, I'm walking around, being stared at by employees in cheap suits, and lounging on furniture. I walk the perimieter of the building twice, without anyone saying a word to me.

anyways, nothing my style in that place..

So, as I'm pulling out, I'm like hell, there is a gardner white, I will see if they have artwork.

Well, within 2 footsteps inside the door, I am approached by a guy who reminds me of that guy who lives in the trailer in the movie x-mas vacation.. Anyways, I told him what I wanted, and he said You can get what you can see.

I said I'm looking for canvas, and he laughed.

So I left.

So I go to costco to see if they have anything.

Immediately found what I was looking for!

CLIFFS:
gardner white sucks

We have a gallery on GI.

I carpool with the owner's husband.

She does commission pieces - you could have a portrait of Stan done.

my mom moved to AZ to do the starving artist thing about `89. she makes these huge stone scuptures out of plaster coated styrofaom. they look like they weight tons, but you can pick them up like boulders ina hollywood movie. she sold one for $7000 and it was like 12' long and 6'-7' high. if you want I can have her do a carcatcher of you and the wrecker, couldn't be more then a few grand. by the way would you like that life size?
