Default 5 Acre lot in Metamora....

We've selling our property in Metamora. (We were going to build, but my parents are selling their house, and we've decided to buy that, instead of building).

So, its a 5 acre lot in southern Metamora. Parcel is in a 'subdivision' with 19 lots. The other 18 parcels are already built(several years ago, not new), houses are in the $350-$450k range.

Underground utilities, perk test done, oxford schools. 1.5 miles from M-24 @ Davison Lake rd. Outbuildings up to 2000 sq ft are allowed, horses are allowed (you can run horse fence right up to the road if you like).

I many years ago, it was farm land, so its like a rolling grassland. Here's the back yard:

Any interest, let me know, and I'll provide more details. Very nice place, I just ended up with a deal we couldn't pass up on my parents house.

No on both, actually, since even though others have done it, I'm pretty sure its tax evasion. Its more like buying a $300k house for $200k..

My existing house in Lake Orion is also on the market. 3br, 2 ful baths(true master bath), 1 acre, extra deep 2 car garage(fits 4 cj-5s, ask me how I know:tonka:), all new everything inside(appliances, wiring, plumbing, windows, insulation, furnace), maple cabinets, oak flooring, .... $179.9k..

I'm pricing it aggresively to sell. Yes, the housing markets not good, but thats why we are moving. Because the deals are good for buying, too.

The upper markets are even worse than the lower end markets. So we are 'losing' $15,000 on that house with that price, but the house we are buying is about '80,000' below where it 'should' be, because that section of the market is even more saturated and harder to sell.

So I'll lose $15k to save $80k anyday.
