He's one heck of a good kid too, Josh.

Thank god he takes after his mother.

Just kidding, I am glad to see you getting good father and son quality time.

i remember those days, except when i was his age i dont think we had tether switches for our parents to hang on to, my dad just sat me on my little LT and told me to tear it up. Keep him on that thing, i quit riding for about four years and regret it every day. I lost a lot of valuable seat time and could probably be racing nationals now had i stuck with riding, we'll see how this summer goes!

I picked up one for my lil fella a few years back and I started him out when he was three. He has now switched over to a two wheeler. That way we can ride up in Baldwin together for boys weekends. For some reason the folks who make the laws still think that the two wheeler (no age restrictions as long as you have the safety certificate) is safer then letting them ride the 4 wheeler (must be 16) on state land. Makes no friggen sense IMO.

Wait til he gives you a heart attack by turning too fast. I always would have preferred my boy to crash (a small one) so he could appreciate what can happen when you are not careful.....that never happened though. I would prefer he crashed sooner rather than later when he gets faster.

Makes for lots of fun though!

And you won't hear the end of it. My dad didn't hear the end of me wanting a quad til I saved up and bought one myself. I guess it worked out to his advantage though lol.

Definitely get your son a new helmet ASAP!!!!
