Default Forum weirdness

Ok..what am I missing here?

Very rarely does the logo show up properly for me and the second picture is about every 3rd page hit. On occasion, I'll get a blank white page and if I hit refresh a couple of times it'll finally show up as it's supposed to.

The weirdness is that this is the only site this issue occurs on and it happens in both Firefox (2.0.0.4) and IE (7.0.5730.11) In IE, I'll get errors saying that IE can not display the page and it will start flashing as if it is attempting to refresh yet failing.
I've scanned for viruses, spyware etc. I've futzed with the settings on my Trend Micro (shut down suspicious website activity blockers etc) I've made sure it wasn't a problem with adblocker, I would like to say I've checked everything possible but if I had, then this wouldn't be a problem.

I know PP posted at one point he was having problems hitting the site with his Treo and what he described is exactly what I've been experiencing. Any thoughts, ideas? Anything?

Also, viewing avatars and attached images is hit or miss. They are heavily pixelated and I can't even see the second picture I posted here. They are both green but the second one shows a blank screen.

Is anybody else experiencing this?

Its almost like your browser isn't displaying the spacing on a % level.

Exactly. And to have it happen in both browsers is what's throwing me.

How do you save a picture of a web screen shot?

hit print screen, go to paint, hit ctrl+P to paste it into paint and save it. Go to www.imageshack.us and upload it. Post it here.

I did that already, in fact I updated to the latest and greatest last night.

What I have not done though, now that I think about it, is completely strip it out and then reinstall it. Damn computers.

I don't know of much else that will affect both browsers.

Didn't work.

Grrr...
Images are showing up though but I'm still getting the weirdness in screen shot #2.
I had to refresh twice to be able to post this.

Chat doesn't open up either and now file attachments are no longer available.

I'm baffled!!! Hence this post..need a few fresh eyes on the issue.

At least I know I'm not going crazy now.
oh..and emoticons aren't clickable. I think it's possessed and that's my official diagnosis.

Ok..what did you tweak? Everything seems to be working including chat and clicking on emoticons. I've done nothing here since reinstalling java and today is the first day it all is back to normal.

Thanks...for whatever it was you did.
