Not even close on the 1/2 ton stuff!

Well here is a little infor on the Hummer H2. First, it has a 6.0L V-8 gas engine , M32 heavy duty 4L65E trans, lockable transfer case, 14 bolt E-locker 9:50" rear end, which the Tahoe dosen't come with.

Second, The frame is boxed and while the same technique is used to form the frame & suspension, it's not even the same but heavier than a K-3500.

Third, H-2 is built by AMG at a AMG facility and the Tahoe is build by the UAW.

I got this infor from the Hummer form site, which has more infor on this stuff.

I'm looking forward the pics of the H2.....but I'm still mad at you for selling the Harley Super Duty..............

I told my wife you traded in the SuperDuty for a H2....she asked me what dealership it was at so she could go look at it .........she wants a Harley Edition Super Duty. I might have to keep her.

Sorry that I posted something from Hummers website. Next time I'll make something up to make you happier.

Most Half ton pickups are using 9.5 - 9.75" ring gears these days. I know at least two that have E-lockers (Toyota and Nissan). All are using a semifloating rear.

I have no info on the frames.

No idea what if thats good for bad. I figure its all American, either way.

I am NOT trying to say anything BAD about your truck. I compared it to a half ton pickup. It has the a payload and towing capability of a 1/2 ton pickup. It has engines, transmissions, transfer cases, and axles comparable to what is available on other 1/2 trucks.

I'm really not trying to pick a fight. Just because I looked up the answer for someone who asked a question doesn't mean I'm trying to be a know it all.

I think its fine for any of your towing needs. I believe I said that.

BDR did you sell your PSD outright or trade it in?
Mind me asking how much you got for it. I am looking around for a crew cab, just not sure how new i am going to go.
Thanks
