I seen your quip about you being young , im not sure what that has to do with it as far as i know i have never met you and had no idea what your age was .

For the record long ago on another board " Grandman " was taken as grandpa and i was ear marked age 60 or so before any one had met me . I really could care less and just rolled with the humor . My age has been greatly exagerated though i am a grandfather x 4 .

I also find humor in the fact im " barely " 20 years older then you . Lets see i was married with a son and bought a home before you were born .

I'm hurt. I have met you. I stopped a couple years ago with Cornfed hauling his Bronco's back from the UP.

Apparently you are mistaken on the age . Your profile says i only have 13 years on you . Trying to pretend your young

Which makes my last post all wrong .

That's the way it used to be here in Michigan!

I didn't say it was like that...... re-read my first line.....

I remember Engler had a policy in place a law to restrict price gouging...... THe price could only increase so much % within a 24 hour period..... I don't remember the exact details ...... but when they took that policy off the record.... prices jumped and really haven't come back down.

Restricting prices is stupid.

As much as it sucks paying a lot of money for gas, what can you do? It's a capitalistic society, if you don't like it... move... You aren't gonna find somewhere better though.

We should just make it free for everyone. Then we can create a new social welfare arm of the government to administer the program and create more taxes to help cover the expense of the program. The price to society would only be $12.99/gallon. What a deal!
