i am looking into getting a ccw, and want to talk with a lawyer, in kalamazoo county, about it. do any of you guys have someone good you can refer me to?

Do you have a felony on your record? Just wondering what you need to talk to a lawyer about.

no felonies. reckless driving, from when i was 17...and had a mustang. in the packet they list reckless driving as something that could deny my eligibility, if it's happened in the last 8 years. It was six years ago.

Apply. If it's overlooked, then cool. If you're denied, wait - it's called "consequences".

It isn't worth [a] the long dollar a lawyer would cost and [b] the shadow it would cast on the process (i.e. "known criminals" getting permits).

And frankly, a legal action would take more than two years to reach solution.

yeah that is a good point. I do not want to make any waves for other people.
