Default Parting out '87 Grand Wagoneer - pics (near Grand Rapids)

I just picked up an excellent-running '87 Grand Wagoneer today. It's a low-mileage (124K miles) vehicle that runs and drives REALLY well. This Jeep was well-maintained, and was adult-driven. The body includes a mix of very nice parts (e.g. - doors), and some rough areas (rockers). For anything not listed or not priced, feel free to make offers and/or requests.

NOTE: Nothing major will be pulled until the motor is pulled, as I want the motor buyer to be able to drive the vehicle first (or at least hear it run).

Items already spoken for, or not available:
  • Axles
  • Wheels & tires

Items available (please post requests/offers for any parts not listed here):
  • AMC 360 V-8, runs absolutely beautifully, low mileage, complete motor including all accessories (wiring, peripherals, brackets, A/C compressor pump, etc.): $350 ** SALE PENDING (The Nuge) $100 deposit rec'd **
  • Faux wood trim: $75
  • Doors, includes all glass and power window mechanisms (all work): $35 each, or $100 for all four (4) (faux wood trim, exterior chrome trim & interior door panes may be removed first)
  • Grill: $25 ** SALE PENDING (firemanw8366) **
  • Hood: $30
  • Front seats, dark burgundy color, beautiful condition, includes center pad/seat (center seat has some cracks in the piping, but pad itself looks great), includes bases & power seat controls: $50 ** SALE PENDING (Jeff Persons {1}, 84Scrambler {2}) **
  • Chrome side window vent shades: $15 ** SALE PENDING (Jeff Persons) **
  • Rear air deflector w/brackets: $15 ** SALE PENDING (Jeff Persons) **
  • Interior door panels: $50/set of 4 ** SALE PENDING (Jeff Persons) **
  • Rear seat, dark burgundy color, beautiful condition: $35

Hi Tom,

I hadn't planned on keeping the radiator with the motor. How does $65 total for the t-case & radiator sound?

BTW, I didn't get to UPS to ship out the alternator yet (but will on Monday). If you want this other stuff, I'll just hold off shipping and apply the shipping $$$ to the $65.

Let me know what you want to do.

Thanks,
Craig

Put me down for the tranny, tcase, and the front seats for now. I will look at ours tomorrow and see what else could be improved.

Brad,

A guy on ifsja PM'd me about the front seats (and some other parts) prior to you posting this. You're 2nd in line for those, and 1st in line for the trans, and 2nd in line for the t-case. Shreddedbark has dibs on the t-case; I'll confirm with him if "interested" is just that, or if he's taking it. I would prefer to sell the trans/t-case together. I'll PM you my phone numbers. Give me a ring once you've looked over other parts needs, and we'll go from there.

Also, somebody who's interested in the motor is coming by to hear/drive the Jeep, so I'll know more about timing for the other parts this evening.

Thanks,
Craig

Brad - I just talked with shreddedbark, and he's going to hold off on the t-case, so the trans/t-case are yours if you want them. I'll let you know about the seats.

Thanks,
Craig

There are still lots of nice parts on this. I'm currently in the process of tearing it down.

I have a rust front clip on my 86, but its all beat up.
It would lots of time to knock all the dings out and make right right.

So, how much rust is on your front clip?
I see the fenders has some rust.
Are they worth being stripped, primed and painted?
How about the radiator core support?
Is there any rust at the top?
How is the hood?

How much would you want for the entire doghouse?

I'll look over it again carefully tonight, but the photos are a good representation of the quality. I think they're definitely worth using. The hood has one slight dent in it, IIRC. The hood emblem is already sold, but the rest of the front clip items are still there. I'd sell the entire front clip for $75.

Craig
The fenders have a couple small bad spots, but the hood/radiator support look very nice. Front clip price dropped to $50 given the update on the fenders.
