Default *rant* tracfone, and customer service in general.

Don't you love it when you call customer service and get a message saying that they have a heavy calls, and that you should call back, and then they hang up on you?

My parents have an older than dirt verizon cell plan, I think it is from Air Touch, and only follows I96 as the home area. They got one of those tracfones because we are going to D.C., and they want to have a cell phone there. It had problems, so I had to call tracfone.

Let me tell you, I will never deal with those non english speaking dumbasses again. Their tech support is dumber than a box of rocks, and can't get a number right to save their lives.

Okay, rant over, but if this piece of shit does not work, I am going to find their U.S. offices and aend them a pissed off letter, then call the BBB, and maybe Homeland Security.

My favorite is the automated system you are forced to go through by companies for 55050500505 hours before getting a real person....like what charter communications has

It's not just TracFone. It took me like 8 tries to get a hold of someone at Alltel customer service yesterday. The 7th time, a rep even answered, said "Hello, this is..." and then hung up on me.

9x out of 10 if you press 0 it will take you to the operator. Just an FYI

damn, I must always be the tenth caller then cuz that doesn't work for me. I've even had it hang up on me when I've pressed 0 in an attempt to bypass the computer crap. Sometimes it's 9* or maybe 7# or I think my brokerage account number makes me do some two digit thing.

I think that Customer Service is a lost art nowadays and that is too bad.

i hate talking to those foreign ppl for Tracfone, they take so long to get to you and dont know anything without reading an instructions manual to help u fix the phone. Took almost 1 hour for them to help me out.

I meant 9 of 10 times for automated customer services...not 9 of 10 callers
