Default 302 Firing Order

Is the firing order for a 302 15426378?

Which plugs are which on the engine? Which is number 1, 2, 3, etc.

The truck is a 1964 but the engine was replaced with a 302.

Yes that is the non-HO firing order. When standing infront of the truck, the cylinder at the front of the truck and on the passenger side is #1. And they go back from there 1,2,3,4. Then from the front to back on the driver's side is 5,6,7,8

351W and HO 5.0 firing order-1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8
Non HO 289/302 firing order- 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8

Where might an ID number for the engine be? I just want to make sure that it is in fact a 302, because its a little old :p

If the carb is like spitting, what might that be an indication of?
