Default How Much Can Chev Blazer Tow 96

JUST BOUGHT IT CHEAP AND WANT TO KNOW IF I PULL A TRAILER AND JEEP OR IF I CAN ONLY FLAT TOW IT.

s series or fullsize? If it is a fullsize you should easily be able to tow a jeep on a trailer with no problem. s-series i would probably flat tow.

Flat tow would be fine. I would not recommend towing a trailer with a Jeep on it. You'll more than likely be over tongue weight and towing capacity for the vehicle.

Even if you weren't over, towing that much with an S series Blazer would not fall under the definition of fun and enjoyable.

thanks i kinda figured that, might get one those of smaller traliers that just picks up the front tires

Forgot about that. A tow dolly would be your best bet. It's definitely better than flat towing. Just don't forget to put the t-case and trans in neutral. Most tow dolly kits come with the magnetic lights to stick on the roof of the car being towed, but if you have a Wrangler you'll have to look into some other way of attaching the lights.

There was a write-up posted on here somewhere about wiring the trailer lights directly into the towed vehicle's lighting system.
