Default Two Explorer 8.8s: 4.10/disk, one posi, the open

My buyer backed out on the 4.10 axle and I'm picking up another soon so I decided to make a new post for them rather than clutter up the 3.73/3.55 post.

One is a posi, the other is open. Both are from v6 Explorers, have 4.10s, disk brakes, a 5on4.5" wheel bolt pattern, 31 spline shafts, etc. All are complete with rotors and calipers. I'll have pics of the open diff one as soon as I get my hands on it.

If you are unfamiliar with the procedure to upgrade the Dana 35 in your Jeep:
http://www.jedi.com/obiwan/jeep/ford88.html
See the links at the bottom of that page for more installs in other Jeeps.

For upgrading a Ranger:
http://www.rangerpowersports.com/tech/?p=78

Axles are in zip code 48193 (south of Detroit), delivery is possible if you help pay for diesel (Libby gets 25+ mpg). I'm unemployed so I'd be happy to bring them right to your doorstep. I've taken parts as far as Muskegon, Traverse City, and Columbus OH.

4.10 gears, 87k miles, posi, looks like brand new pads/rotors/ebrake shoes: $350 OBO

--------------------------------------------------

I will shortly have my hands on the disk braked 4.10 with an open diff. Photos and details will be forthcoming when I get it.

What kind of price are you looking at for the open diff axle?

I'm not going to set a price on the open diff one until I can fully inspect it. All I know so far is that it comes with rotors and calipers. Depending on it's condition, it'll likely be 300-350. I hope to fetch it early tomorrow morning.

I've got the 4.10 open axle. Turns out it's an unused surplus axle. It has new factory rotors, but comes with used calipers/pads that came from another axle. Pictures will be up soon. Asking $350 OBO
