Site Refreshing Slow Today

Is anyone else experiencing this? I checked with other sites i frequent to make sure it wasn't my pc or connection. It just seems to take a second or 2 longer to open a thread, or refresh the page. Just an observation.

Look to the very bottom of the website. That will tell you how long the server took to load that page. I put the server stats there so I can monitor server speed.

thread pages should have <.6 second load times. PM's and other smaller pages should be <.1 seconds

This particular page took .16 seconds to load.

That's odd, cause it take sa few seconds for all the icons, posting box and extras to load for me. And it's only this site. Oh well, i'll deal with it and hopefully it'll speed up soon. I even tried turning off my internet radio channel with no change.

I see the 7th hop is timing out.

*edit* Interesting, if i post something the page comes up as fast as normal, but if i hit the refresh button, that's when i'm getting the lag.

att.net has a f'd up router. after it times out, it goes on another path

thats your answer

I'm guessing that messed up router is near lansing.

When you go to other sites, its not going towards lansing.

I'm wondering if these hurricane winds have something to do with it. For the last 20~30 minutes, my email has been down, and i couldn't do a tracert anywhere. But, could ping out fine. I called Wide Open West and they said there were some outages in Royal Oak and Roseville, but not Shelby Twp. Then, it came back to the way it was earlier. I'll just wait till these winds die down.
