so you're saying this 120 wire feed is good enought to do cages with ?? or am i mis understanding you ??

Well, cages are usually 0.120 - 0.140 wall tube. I'd say most any welder is, as long as the guy welding it is good, the prep work is good, and the joints are cut nice and tight..

I have build 3 cages with it, rolled one of those with no problems...

We have a 125 at home. Got it set up for Mig and I weld everything with it. I love that Welder. All of the Fab stuff on my XJ, including the Xj itself have felt the heat from it. Its almost perfect for what we all like to do here in the Jeeping World, but don't think you'll start a business with it...

Looks to be sold (again)


I've been VERY happy with my Lincoln welders. I olny moved up because I'm doing SO much fab these days with more frequent pieces of 3/8 and 1/2 thick plate.
