It does get done. Its just that vBulletin does not put them into a "conversation" like you want the way its currently set up. It only does that in PM's right now. The reason its set up like this is because its a hell of a lot easier to respond to specific statements this way instead of having to split up a huge quote. You can also elect to leave out any undesireable posts in the middle of the conversation this way.

Use the "multi" button on all posts you want to quote and instead of "multi", click the "quote" button on the last one in the chain as an alternative to using the method CC described. Its not much different, but it eliminates both a click and having to scroll back up to the "Reply" button every time.
