Default Who else has had a bittersweet week this week?

As I'm sure most of you know, alot of people left Ford on Wednesday and my boss of 10 years was one of them. Now, while I may have gotten his window office in the deal and double the workload, I have lost a mentor and father figure of mine thats been with me through getting married, having a child, losing a parent, and many many things. It still hasn't really sunk in yet and probably won't for quite awhile simply given the amount of running around I am doing now, but it is a sad turn in my career here.

bittersweet? not so much here, but interesting.

it's not every day, that a Division Manager here at my place of employment hands a job opportunity/posting to an underling to hand to me... (this one is in Plano Texas, and I had already known about it)

But Ford is saved now. You guys hired Mike Rowe as your new spokesmodel.

That's where I spent yesterday morning. He's a pretty cool guy. I also shot the breeze with Bill Proctor from ch7. He's a bit of an angry man though

I know how that goes. I also have less chance to take vacations without having anybody to back me up.
