1. Petersen's sucks, unless you like wheeling a Lexus.

2. Crawl is focused towards people who wheel more aggressively - usually those who compete and have "graduated" past or who have "outgrown" full-bodied vehicles.

Well I've been a subscriber to it for almost 4 years now and I have seen maybe 2 pictures of lexus' in there ever. So I don't know what Petersons your reading. They got some good shit in there to read. I honestly could care less about strictly offroad vehicles right now. If its not multifunctional and daily driver capable. Buggys look cool but I dont care.

Well, it won 4x4 of the year a couple years back, a year or two before the VW Touraeg did.. I bet there were more than 2 pictures in that article..

Then you are reading the right mag.

There are plenty of people who are interested in trail rigs. My toyota is a 98% trail only vehicle, tube bed, soon getting 4 link, rides on big swampers, welded diffs, dual t-cases, and has convinent holes in the floor to see if the driveshafts are spinning..

Petersons/Four wheeler/JP are pretty much the same(sometimes rerunning the same articles in multiple mags), and couldn't build a cheap capable rig if they tried. Its a bolt on book.

bolt-ons are for sissys..

Well then I guess 1/2 the people on this site are sissys then. But yea ill agree with that. Just boltin everything on is overrated. I only do what I can with the equipment I own. Im sure as hell not payin someone to fab up my stuff...I do my own work. And I dont trust anyone but myself. But until u fab up your own "tube" buggy thats as good on road as it is offroad, I wont be spending $45 on that mag.
