That's the rub, isn't it? A source of voters that wanna "get theirs", that see the successful as its oppressors. We need someonethat will introduce a new concept to people: Pride. Someone that will foster aid in a means meant only for success, not apathy.

The rest of the message doesn't matter.

Thanks to income taxes, she will be taking half of those record profits. Instead of being used to fund alternative energy (or whatever the hot issue of the day is) they'll be used to fund the general budget. If she took all of it, not another penny would be spent on alternative energy.

Empty rhetoric. Gesture politics ("I said it, therefore it's good").
