Oh yes!, really enjoyed Camp Jeep in VA. The townies were much nicer there than in PA or WI., and hopefuly can go tubing again.... had a riot.

So has anyone ever been to the one in VA? How is the terrain in VA in relation to PA? I heard people say that the PA Camp Jeep was the most challenging so far of CJ, well if you went on "Hard trails" that is.

I've been to CJ every year starting with 2000 in VA. You're correct, PA had the most challenging trails. Next would be VA, then MO, and WI, in order of difficulty. VA can be friggin' hot in late July, but the locals are a ton o' fun and the area has lots to do.

I have been since The Colorado gig.......I'd say it's up to how much you wheel to determin what is challenging.....I don't think anyone of them have been challenging for me ! I did take it offroad with out the camp Jeep guides in Colorado...and in VA... I usually get there a few days ahead of time and meet up wit the locals to show me around.......I even lead a group in Virginia the second time in VA.....Not too shabby !

I've been to the VA one a couple times now, trails are ok, not as good as Penn. We have found some of our own to run. The locals have been good to my group, whatever state we have been in from the campground owner to the girl that showed us the local "swimming hole" in VA, to the Kunkletown Tavern in PA to the Tiki Bar and Brewers game in WI.

Lovemud, any plans for the Drinking Team shirts yet, they seem to have been a big hit last year?

Oh yeah, FIRE MILLEN.

I can't register until I have my new Jeep. Are they letting you register for trail rides now or just the camp itself?

I dont have any ideas for the location on the shirt, I dont think there was a bar in VA that we went to, all I can think of is the creek.

I also spoke to EZ, he said NASA will be making the trip again.

I just booked a room outside of Lynchburg. Any one know how far that is from CJ? How long is the drive? Looks like about 700 miles. I haven't been to VA, Any suggestions from the vets?

Lynchburg is not too far. Definitely make sure you are on the Eastern side of the mountains there, otherwise there are not too many roads going up & over the mountains and you have to go out of your way. The drive down is about 10-11 hours roughly (depending on where you start and how fast you go). Mostly mountains once you hit Southern WVA.
It is normally pretty hot & dry down there. The site is in Nelson County, if that helps.

I still haven't heard from Emily at the campground. I think they are closed for the season. I sent her an e-mail so hopefully she will check that. I have a feeling even if they are full they will make room for our group.

FIRE MILLEN!
